Dragon Hunters is a Social Game with Cards on Polygon where 4 families battle to rule the 10 regions of Athrum. The first drop will feature the only 1,000 Dragon Cards to ever be released on Dragon Hunters.
Dragon Hunters proposal is to be like a mix between Risk and Game of Thrones. The decision to launch on Polygon came after the founders of Inevitable Media – the company behind Dragon Hunters – saw the terrible experience some users had with collections launching and users spending thousands of dollars on high gas fees and gas wars.
Launching on Polygon will enable reduced gas fees, faster transactions, and a seamless experience for Dragon Hunters owners. Dragon Hunters will also benefit from the thriving ecosystem being built on Polygon, which now includes some of the leading DeFi projects, making Polygon a perfect fit for us as we work to build scalable pricing infrastructure at the intersection of NFTs and gaming and entertainment.
In Dragon Hunters, four families – Hawthorne, Collier, Kane, and Preston – battle to rule the 10 regions. And the members of these families are the owners of the cards. Each and every owner of the collection will have the opportunity to choose to be part – via our website – of one of the 4 families. After choosing a family a player will still be able to switch families. Will you really betray your family like that? Or was that your plan all along?
The system we set up allows a person with only one card to be already playing and being relevant from the start and a person with 25 cards to have different strategies for the game. Your decisions will define the history of Athrum, no matter the size of your deck. We are not a pay-to-win experience.
