The female-oriented NFT community is announcing a new partnership with The Sandbox to launch a $25 million fund aimed at promoting women in the Web3 space. World of Women is aiming to push a message to solicit for better representation and participation of women in the decentralized webspace. It further expressed that its partnership with The Sandbox will work towards providing business development, opportunities, and support for female creators in the Web3 space.
World of Women announced that it is partnering with The Sandbox to launch a Female-Focused fund organization dubbed “The World of Women Foundation.” The newly formed foundation will be centered on raising a $25 million grant that will help support female creators in the Web3 spaces.
The Sandbox, one of the leading metaverse games, announced their partnership with the NFT collection World of Women as they celebrate International Women’s Day. It also confirms the launch of a $25 million fund to promote “women and diversity of thought in the NFT and Web3 space.”
Declaring via a Medium post, the newly formed World of Women Foundation gave insights on how the initiative will push to encourage more participation from females via a series of interactive experiences.
The Co-founder and artist behind World of Women, Yam KarKai spoke about the new partnership with The Sandbox saying:
“We are thrilled to be teaming up with The Sandbox. With this grant, we are going to establish our mission in the Metaverse, by leading and supporting women in this new space”
Following the collaboration with The Sandbox, holders of World of Women NFT will be allowed to use them as Avatars in the Sandbox game. Also, The World of Women Foundation announced that it will be building a museum in The Sandbox to showcase works from the foundation.
This follows after KPMG Canada announced its purchase of its first non-fungible token – a World of Women NFT reflecting the firm’s belief in the growth of NFTs, emphasizing the value of World of Women and it’s mission.
