The Associated Press (AP) has launched a premium NFT collection on Binance that includes news items from the company’s archives over the last 100 years.
The collection tagged “Unique Moments” was compiled by Australian NFT publisher MetaList Lab as authorized by AP News.
It features photos, articles, and other digital content about historical events such as the murder of President John F. Kennedy, Nelson Mandela’s inauguration, Human Space Exploration, Pluto’s discovery, the operation to kill Osama Bin Laden, and Martin Luther King’s tribute.

Other sensitive and global conflicts topics like the BLM and Racial Justice Movements, the Cold War between the US and the Soviet Union, WWI, and WWII, and the Horror of Rwanda were also featured.
All AP’s NFT collection on Binance will be classified according to the “rarity level of the Mystery Boxes,” which is determined by the significance of the content.
The four rarity levels are Normal (N), Rare (R), Super Rare (SR), and Super Super Rare (SSR), and each mystery box will sell for 29 BUSD (Binance’s native stablecoin).
Other major news agencies have also sold NFTs of their archives in the past.
