Andrew Yang and Bankless launch NFTs to fund Forward Party

American politician Andrew Yang has partnered with Bankless, a decentralization project to launch an NFT collection to sponsor his newly formed Forward Party.

The former presidential and New York mayoral candidate confirmed this on Oct. 18 during his appearance on the Bankless podcast.

“I want to make the case to legislators,” Yang told hosts Ryan Adams and David Hoffman, “that crypto communities are a force for progress and innovation and a massive provider of jobs.”

Yang explained that his goal is to “make the Forward Party the ”crypto party” and breathe fresh air into the US political system while challenging the “dysfunctional duopoly.”

“I also have a hope for a positive political movement that is not born of rage and demonization,” Yang wrote on the Party’s website.

As per reports, all the earnings accrued from the NFT sales will be used to fund the Forward Party.
