The Crypto policy of Turkey is very hostile and anti-crypto

Tayyip Erdogan, President of Turkey, said that country is at war with crypto and he has clarified The Crypto policy of Turkey. President added that we will continue working on the digital currency of the country.

Most countries of the world have either regulated or preparing to regulate the crypto market. The Central Bank of Turkey has prohibited the use of crypto for the exchange of goods and services. This year in July government revealed its plans to regulate crypto. The Crypto policy of Turkey is very hostile and anti-crypto.

The Crypto policy of Turkey:

A conference was held in Mersin, a port city in Southern Turkey, with university students from 81 provinces and was called” Meeting with Youth”. The youth was asking questions from President Erdogan about the country’s economy and plans.

From the audience, a young man asked the President whether the country is opening up to crypto or not. He also mentioned the initiative of the digital lira platform by the central bank of Turkey. President clarifies The Crypto policy of Turkey by saying:

On the contrary, we have a separate war, a separate struggle against them.

President also said that they want to focus on their currency and will not provide premium treatment to the crypto. President asked the opinion of the deputy chairman of the Justice Development Party (AK Party) about crypto. She said:

Unfortunately, cryptocurrency also opens the door to grievances. So, it’s something that needs serious control.
