Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk is bullish about Dogecoin featuring on Robinhood’s crypto wallet.
Dogecoin co-founder Billy Markus revealed that the token can now be used to tip or trade on the trading platform.
Describing his experience with the app, Markus tweeted:
“just sent some doge from my @RobinhoodApp wallet! was easy and fee was only 0.02 doge – this is fantastic!
also it’s super weird when i look at the description of dogecoin in the app and see my name ?”
The first phase of Robinhood’s crypto wallet was launched in February, allowing users on the waitlist to withdraw digital assets and funds to their wallets.
At the moment, Robinhood users are able to trade up to seven digital currencies, including bitcoin, ethereum, and dogecoin.
There have been calls from different sections for Robinhood to list Shiba Inu but the trading platform has so far turned deaf ears to it.
