Poly Network offers $500,000 to “Ethical Hacker” who returned Assets

Poly Network has offered to give a “bug bounty” of $500,000 to the hacker(s) who launched a cyber-attack on its system a few days ago.

The Cross-chain decentralized finance (DeFi) platform expressed gratitude to the hacker for refunding a significant part of the hacked assets and “helping to improve Poly Network’s Security”.


Poly Network says it hopes “Mr White Hat”, referring to the hacker, would contribute to the development of the crypto industry.

Citing a report by Reuters, the hacker is believed to have responded to the $500,000 ” bug bounty” offer. But there was no disclosure as to whether he accepted or declined.
