Online payment solution firm PayPal raised the purchase limit for cryptocurrency on its platform to $100,000 per week and also removed the limit on annual withdrawals. Read more
U.S. regulators will meet to discuss stablecoins tomorrow
U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen announced on Friday that she will meet with regulators on July 18 to discuss “interagency cooperation” and weigh the benefits of stablecoins.
“Bringing together regulators will enable us to assess the potential benefits of stablecoins while mitigating risks they could pose to users, markets, or the financial system.” Janet Yellen said.
