Billionaire investor Mark Cuban and carbonated soft drink company Dr. Pepper will provide a college tuition grant for a student through the #IDeserveTuition TikTok challenge.
A live “Bitcoin Toss” will be conducted on Saturday, where one student will get to win $23,000 worth of bitcoin.
Two students, Jill B., a business major at UC Berkeley, and Kaitlyn O., a computer science major at Boston University, have been selected as finalists for the coin toss, which will be aired live on Instagram and TikTok.
“As an advocate for empowering students to succeed, I’m excited to partner with Dr. Pepper to host the ‘Bitcoin Toss’ during the Dr. Pepper Tuition Giveaway program,” The American billionaire said in a press release.
He added: “This year’s competition is sure to thrill, so let the games begin!”
Dr. Pepper is renowned for giving out grants to students year-in-year-out, so far, the brand is estimated to have given out $12 million worth of tuition grants to students across the United States.
