Fundraiser For Ariana Grande’s Trans Visibility Now Supports Crypto Donations 

Pledge, a fundraising platform has unveiled Pledgecrypto which aims at allowing nonprofits to go along with Crypto donations in more than 130 cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Tether, Ethereum and so on.

Ariana Grande, who is a famous music artist and also a prominent advocate for transgender rights. She also founded her own charity organisation, Protect and Defend Trans Youth Fund. 

Ariana Grande has offered to donate up to $1.5 million dollars through her charity organisation. The goal is to raise money for LGBTQ organisations that help advocate for and also make sure that transgender youths are able to access direct services.

According to the announcement, PledgeCrypto is a free, fully-integrated fiat and cryptocurrency donation platform in which donations are given to non-profit organisations that are verified. It does not demand technical knowledge, crypto wallet expertise or a KYC documentation.

The CEO of Pledge, James Citron stated that about 300 million people in the world currently hold cryptocurrency and have intentions of funding causes that they care about.

Aside from Ariana Grande’s campaign, there are other additional partners. They include, Big Brothers and Big Sisters LA, The Boys and Girls Club of Metro Los Angeles, Streetcode Academy, Worthy of Love, Safe Place for Youth, CoachArt, Taraji P Henson’s Boris Lawrence Henson Foundation and Goodie Nation.

Pledge has also unveiled a mechanism that allows crypto traders to contribute to verified carbon offset initiatives through the initiative of the United Nations Climate Neutral Now initiative to counteract the environmental implications of cryptocurrency mining and transactions.
