Exploring NFTs to make it more accessible to a broader audience:

CEO of Instagram, Adam Mosseri, has revealed that they are actively exploring NFTs. The CEO used the story feature to guess the future of NFTs on Instagram. He further added that they are working to help its creator through NFTs. He further detailed:

“Nothing to announce yet but we are definitely actively exploring NFTs and how we can make them more accessible to a broader audience. I think it’s an interesting place that we can play and also a way that hopefully helps creators.”

It appears that Instagram is gravitating towards IG’s competitor, Tik Tok’s NFT approach. Mosseri’s comments about NFTs on IG determined that much like TikTok, Instagram will also promote its viral influencers and their content in a tokenized form.
