El Salvador’s first citizen, President Nayib Bukele continues to maintain positive sentiments about bitcoin despite the significant price correction we’ve witnessed in recent months.
While delivering his bullish call, Bukele says there aren’t enough bitcoin tokens to go round amongst the world’s millionaires, adding that an uptrend is almost inevitable.
“There are more than 50 million millionaires in the world. Imagine when each one of them decides they should own at least ONE #Bitcoin
But there will ever be only 21 million #Bitcoin
No enough for even half of them.
A gigantic price increase is just a matter of time.”

The President’s statement comes amidst shouts by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) against El Salvador’s Bitcoin adoption.
Bitcoin has lost around 45% of it’s value since the all-time high record ($68,000) it set in November 2021, causing El Salvador’s bitcoin reserve to drop significantly.
