DOGE wallet of Binance is being rebuilt to deal with a technical issue that resulted in numerous erroneous dogecoin transactions.

On Tuesday, the largest crypto exchange in the world explained that they are going to rebuild the DOGE wallet from scratch to handle the issue of user account freeze. The firm explained that this issue was caused by a recent software upgrade. This issue caused the old 1674 transactions to be resent to users. Binance uses a different setup to other platforms for DOGE, which is what caused the issue.
Users have told Coindesk that their accounts were frozen by the exchange. They had to return the DOGE which was incorrectly transferred back to exchange. Some users are saying that their accounts had been unblocked by the exchange and some others are saying that they can use their funds for the other crypto assets stored on their Binance wallet.
This issue caught the attention of the Tesla Boss and he commented that the DOGE issue sounds shady. The firm explained that they are rebuilding the DOGE wallet and this issue is “not shady-just frustrating”. The firm also shared the details about the fix. The CEO of Binance got offended and replied with an article about Tesla recalling 12000 cars. He asked sarcastically “what happened here?”
