Digital yuan conversions can now be carried out at 3000+ ATMs in Beijing

China’s CBDC, digital yuan, continues to soar in relevance after local state-run news platform, Xinhua, revealed it is now available for deposit and withdrawal at over 3,000 Automated Teller Machines (ATM) across Beijing.

The Beijing district of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China has become the first bank to support the conversion of digital yuan into cash.

Back in January, the Agricultural Bank of China (ABC) rolled out ATMs that allowed users to convert cash to digital yuan and vice versa.

Since then,it has continued to be heavily involved in activities relating to the digital yuan.
