Crypto-Friendly Card Embily Hoops on Visa’s Fast Track Program

Embily USA, the North American division of European fintech provider Embily, has signed on to Visa’s Fintech fast track program.

Embily is a crypto-friendly card that is set to be introduced in the United States by the first quarter of next year.

According to bitcoin magazine, the refillable bitcoin card will support payments of goods and services across the globe.

By joining Visa’s Fast Track program, exciting Fintechs like Embily USA gain unprecedented access to Visa experts, technology, and resources,” Terry Angelos, SVP and Global Head of Fintech at Visa, told Bitcoin Magazine. “Fast Track lets us provide new resources that rapidly growing companies need to scale with efficiency.”

Embily will gain access to Visa’s wide range payment network courtesy of this partnership.

CEO of Embily Joe Sasenick had this to say:

“This card is currently available to almost every country except the U.S.,”

“We have a euro Embily card that serves almost every part of the world and a couple more entities we are building out to provide this service for as many countries as possible. Embily USA, Inc. expects to have a product fully launched in Q1 2022.”

Embily will function in the US as a physical and digital prepaid card that can be funded with bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.

The crypto-to-dollar conversion will be handled by an unnamed third party exchange.
