Coinbase gets Bafin Lincense to operate in Germany

Coinbase has gotten the go-ahead from the financial market supervisors, Bafin, to operate in Germany.

The American exchange firm became the first of such organizations to receive the permit.

Back in November 2019, the German lawmakers passed a bill mandating all crypto exchanges seeking to operate within the country to either get licensed by Bafin or quit offering their services in the country.

Coinbase is quickly expanding its reach to capture more consumers and also profits.

Newsbsc reported that the exchange company made a less-announced entry into the Japanese market.
