As the crypto market is in consolidation with no clear direction, a survey from CNBC reveals surprising facts. CNBC crypto survey shows that 83% of millennial millionaires own digital assets. The participants of the survey were those who has assets worth $1 million or more. The millennial millionaire of this survey had 53% or more of their wealth in digital assets like Bitcoin or Ethereum.
CNBC crypto survey participants were having at least a third of their wealth in cryptocurrencies. The survey also reveals that there is a generational divide between older and younger millionaires. Three-quarters of the generation X participants do not own any crypto while only 4% of the baby boomer generation holds crypto. The millennial millionaires are the only generation that seems to be leading in leveraging crypto assets for investible wealth.
The author of the survey, George Walper, has indicated in the report that digital assets will be the center of investing for generation z and millennial investors. The survey also highlights that despite the current speculation of the crypto market, millennial millionaires plan to add more crypto in the coming year.
