33% of Investors agree with Warren Buffet that Crypto is “rat poison” – JPMorgan Survey

33% of investors who took part in a recent survey conducted by JPMorgan agree with Warren Buffet’s claim that Crypto is “rat poison”.

Although only 10% of the investment firms that participated in the study trade cryptocurrencies.

A whopping 80% said they don’t foresee themselves trading or investing in cryptocurrencies.


The survey which was held at the Macro, Quantitative and Derivatives conference, was reported by Reuters.

It had 3000 investors in attendance from about 1,500 institutions.

When asked about their personal investments, 40% of attendees admit they are actively involved in cryptocurrency.


Around 95% of investors who participated hold a strong belief that fraudulent activities dominated the crypto space.

16% regard cryptocurrency as a temporary trend, while 80% expect stricter control measures to be put in place by regulators.
