Tipping through Bitcoin will be a new feature of Twitter, according to the reports by Alessandro Paluzzi and MacRumors. Alessandro shared a picture that shows how the service will look like. Tipping function will use a lightning Network to make a smaller amount of tips through Bitcoin.
Jack Dorsey, CEO of Twitter and Square, is a supporter of Bitcoin and he is leaving no stone unturned to adopt it through his platforms. Square has its crypto team, which is currently building hardware wallet and TBD decentralized Exchange.
In July, Jack told that Tipping through Bitcoin will be activated on Twitter. He elaborated that they can further extend this tipping feature for services like Super Follows, Subscriptions, and Commerce.

According to the rumors, Twitter is now testing the feature of Tipping through Bitcoin. They are using the Lightning Network according to multiple reports. Lightning Network will allow the users for faster transactions with lower fees than the basic Network of Bitcoin. The current Twitter beta shows that this service is being tested, according to MacRumors.
Alessandro Paluzzi, the Mobile developer, has shared a picture that shows how the service may look like. Through Lightning Network users will allow Tipping through Bitcoin in small amounts. Custodial and non-Custodial wallets will also be supported.
